Working with specialist 'design & build' company Amalgam Modelmaking, I was asked to develop a look and feel for EDF Energy's new UK visitor centre graphics; including information panels, booklets, interior graphics and printed materials to accompany the exciting interactive models created by Amalgam.
The visitor centres, which began launching at various locations across the UK in 2012, are part of a new initiative by EDF Energy to help inform and educate the public and local communities about using nuclear energy.Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Graphic Design2013 -

Retaining some existing corporate colours and logo, the brand refresh focused on updating corporate literature, including product sheets, folders, stationary, website and marketing material.
The aim was to simplify existing material, to reflect a bold, colourful and clear image for the company. Simple colours, shapes and an emphasis on a rounded, organic feel to various printed and digital elements, helped to achieve the fun and friendly ethos of the company in a more contemporary and stylish way.Graphic Design, Branding, Print Design2011 -
Creative direction, branding and supporting print material for UCA Green Campaign.
The University for the Creative Arts has made a commitment to environmental awareness, sustainability and carbon management throughout the university and UCA green has been developed to act as an umbrella for all such activities.
Working closely with specialist communication and management consultancy Evodia Ltd, a visual language was created to help students identify the work UCA green is doing and the initiatives that are being put in place. The overall look and feel, including icons, posters, flyers and presentational material, were developed to work subtly alongside the overall UCA branding.Branding, Print Design, Graphic Design2010 -

Working alongside marketing and PR company GG Communications this project involved the development of two logo concepts that drew upon the heritage of Sweethaven Computers. A long established local company, the shop in which Sweethaven is now based, was a well-known sweetshop in the area.
Retaining existing brand colours, one solution reflects abstract shapes and patterns associated with candy and boiled sweets, whilst the second idea simplistically depicts an old fashioned, round sweet jar as the basis for the logo mark.Graphic Design, Print Design, Branding2011 -

creativetorbay.com is both an enterprise solution and a community driven website, aimed at connecting creatives' and those interested in creative initiatives. The site gives members a platform to exhibit and discuss their work with likeminded people.
Working within design agency Smoothe Ltd, the Creative Torbay brand was designed and creatively driven by Bex, who developed the concept of 'collective, creative atoms' converging in one common community. The site continues to attract new members and the overall brand features on ongoing promotional material.Graphic Design, Branding, Print Design2011 -

A range of material designed and produced for the 'StationLife' event hosted by London Property Forum. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of, and encourage discussion about regenerating areas in and around train stations in London.
The use of exciting animation and playful characters was developed to visually inject life and fun into examples of these run down areas. The idea of 'growing' and 'developing' was incorporated into the brightly coloured animation with a supporting logo that reflects the shape of a 'railway arch'. Supporting promotional material included a train ticket style leaflet and an illustrated programme.
